In August 2021 Mind Music, a Smart Chain based crypto project, launched the world’s first record label powered by Crypto, Mind Records. The founder, Mark Hamilton, and the team behind Mind Music had a vision to help people suffering with depression and other mental illness by raising funds through music. This week, Mental Health Week, the record label made its first charity donation!
1968.96 GBP was donated to Rethink Mental Illness.
Rethink Mental Illness provide accommodation and support for people suffering with mental illness to enable clients to move on to independent living in the community. Their services accommodate people with a range of mental illnesses, from depression to severe and enduring illness, such as Schizophrenia. The service the money has been donated to is going to use the funds to develop the garden area at one of their properties and encourage residents to get outside and get involved.
